Biographie
The Commitments were a fictional band brought together to perform for the 1991 movie of the same title. Although Dick Massey and Kenneth McCluskey have since formed their own band called The Commitments they are the only two original members to be in it. All of the other members went their separate ways after the film ended. Andrew Strong went solo, Glen Hansard went on to front The Frames and the girls pursued acting careers as well as remaining in music.
