Biographie
The Pretenders, ou Pretenders — dénomination utilisée sur la plupart des albums —, est un groupe de rock anglo-américain formé à Londres en 1978 par Chrissie Hynde.
Il s'est fait connaître du grand public par le tube Brass in Pocket en 1979, classé no 1 en Grande-Bretagne, tandis que Don't Get Me Wrong en 1986 leur a apporté leur plus grand succès aux États-Unis.
