Biographie
Benny Goodman (Benjamin David Goodman, né Benő Guttman) né le 30 mai 1909 à Chicago et mort le 13 juin 1986 à New York, est un clarinettiste, compositeur, et chef d'orchestre de big band jazz américain, surnommé « The King of Swing » (le Roi du Swing) depuis The Famous 1938 Carnegie Hall Jazz Concert, avec un des big bands de swing international les plus emblématiques de l'ère du jazz.
